Spring will be here soon. The farm has been really pounded by snow ice and wind this winter. Looking for help April 4, 2026 to help me return my sustainabl;e systems back to peak performance and ready for camps and workshops.

What Needs Done?

  1. Removing weed trees and cleaning the front formal gardens lawns but preserving leaf beds (2 people 30 minutes)

  2. Helping convert branches and limbs into biochar, shredded bits and compost (2 people 2 hours)

  3. Broadcasting grass seed in the hornbeam allee and the side lawn

  4. Reinforcing the outdoor classroom pergola (3 people 15 minutes) or donate to help secure a new one ($1000)

  5. Reaffixing the battery-powered arches in the Hornbeam allee (4 people 5 minutes)

  6. Resetting the bioreactor to begin producing compost again (2 people 20 minutes)

  7. Weeding the potager gardens (1 person 45 minutes)

  8. Trimming the boxwoods and south hedge (2 people 2 hours)

  9. Weeding the potager gardens and setting peas, potatoes, kale, lettuce, cabbage, and onions (3 people 2 hours)

  10. Sorting destroyed equipment from salvageable equipment (3 people 45 minutes)

  11. Rebuilding the chicken run roof with a ground and adding solar panels (2 people 2 hours)

  12. Sorting the bioengineering shed and resetting the 3D printers and laser cutter (2 people 2 hours)

  13. Cleaning out the biolab and biodome (2 people 2 hours)

  14. Building a new solar still for purifying rainwater (2 people 2 hours)

  15. Installing new lines from the bioreactor water tank to the vertical garden trellis sprinklers (4 people, unclear)

  16. Planting wilflowers and poppies in the pollinator runway (1 kid 30 minutes)

  17. Retrofitting the Bakki shower and biofilter on the pond and getting koi ready for spawning (2 people 30 minutes)

  18. General trash pickup (2 people 1 hour)

  19. Making Eden’s Ghost, bioblocks, and Charles Chickens’ Eggcellent Fertilizer gifts for volunteers (fun for kids)

  20. Making UV origami flower wreraths to attract bees, butterflies, and birds to the gardens again (fun for kids)

  21. Resetting my summer camp student, Finn’s, Duck Muck purifier system for warm weather (2 people 1 hour)
