October 2025 GIFT Presentation
Welcome to Mezzacello Urban Farm. This is a presentation to the Global innovation Field Trip 24-hour STEM presentation event. In this presentation I am explaining the portable solar powered mobile tractor designed and built by 2025 Summer Camp Kids. In addition, this presentation highlights the other innovations put in place - by kids - to truly make this concept sustainable.
From Waste To Taste
This is a blog p[ost about how we create animal feed at Mezzacello Urban Farm from slightly dehydrated edible weeds and assorted corn, hay, seeds, wheat germ, oils, and molasses. When all of this blended it is mixed with 1/3 it’s mass of water. This is then blended together into a paste, The paste is then extruded, left to dry and voila! Feed!
Entering a New Phase of My Mission
This week I finally launched the PALs outreach initiative. PALs stands for Portable Ag Lab station. It will be joined shortly by the PETs (Portable Environmental Testing station) and PODs (Portable Observational Data station).
We Love Community Service Days
Mezzacello recently hosted a group of teens from Columbus School for Girls to get some service hours in. They were delightful and such a huge help! Ask about your school finding service hours!
