When Mezzacello Makes It Work

Weeds to Feeds my MenTern Oliver sorting and prepping weeds for pelletizer feed

Mezzacello Urban Farm is a love letter to sustainability. The summer camps are not a SEPARATE aspect of the ecologies and systems of Mezzacello’s sustainability. They are an integral piece to the quality of life, functionality, and innovation on the urban farm.

October Updates

As summer transforms into fall, the systems that the summer camp students have researched, designed, built, and modified continue to work well. They make life here easier, because I can do more work with their inventions and innovations in place.

The child that looks like they are in pain IS the MenTern teaching how to trim rabbit claws. LOL!

I wish everyone had access to fearless young inventors, artists, engineers, and scientists who are curious and goal oriented. They are my proudest ecology at Mezzacello Urban Farm. They care and are motivated to make life better for me and the animals and ecologies that live on this farm and make it sustainable.

I will be presenting on this at the October GIFT on YouTube

The gallery above represents innovations that helped build the mobile tractor with onboard food, water and energy. It’s a really integral tool for me to leverage at the farm. I have a few chickens that need to be isolated due to missing feathers. The mobile tractor is the perfect solution!
