Y’all remember the Smurfs? When I was in middle school every Saturday morning I would watch “The Smurfs”. I loved the message of community and resourcefulness. The singular villain, Gargamel, was a stand in for the cruel world and later on I would learn was me as well. I was enchanted by their village that they created from found materials. LOL!

My garden made a Hero Omelet
Those that visit the garden have a new surprise. We added an herb garden that is planted in a parterre. The parterre could have been created in any number of ways, with any number of plants. This one was created with small boxwoods in a simple closed X design.
