This is a presentation I created for the COSI Farm Days Presentation. Each of the 10 ecologies of Mezzacello Urban Farm are outlined here. Each of the ecologies are divided acrosss 7 themes: The built infrastructure, the geosphere and pedosphere, the energy systems, the hydrosphere, the atmosphere, the biosphere, and global impacts.

Why Sustainability?

Mezzacello Urban Farm is committed to being a learning lab for how we can transform our urban areas from food deserts into food oases. That means that every system at Mezzacello is tied to one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. When you look through the maps above you will see many of these goals at play.
